Japanese Sweet Flag Grass is a perennial plant that sports long, knife-like light-green to golden-yellow leaves. They can achieve 39 inches in height and in spring and early summer, may produce small, greenish-yellow flower spikes, followed by red berries. The “sweet” part of its name comes from the pleasant aroma that happens when the leaves are crushed. Your gift includes nine of these plants that will border the Roundel Plaza.
